Evident Change has launched nationwide Team Decision Making® (TDM™) quarterly learning spaces after hearing from many child welfare agencies about the value of staff connecting with peers doing similar work. Practitioners appreciate having practical discussion anchored in shared goals, receiving support directly from Evident Change, and bringing ideas back to their organizations and communities.
Webinars Are Open to All
Coaching webinars are open to anyone who is interested in discussing facilitating the TDM process or other family-centered meetings (FCMs). You do not need to be using the TDM model to attend. Participants include full-time and backup TDM facilitators, supervisors, and leaders overseeing the TDM model or another FCM practice. Attendees gain insight into facilitation, learn strategies that support other family meeting approaches, and gather ideas to inform planning and program development.
The webinars are also valuable to anyone interested in exploring the TDM model for their agency, whether considering implementation, comparing meeting models, or looking for guidance on strengthening their current practice.
What Each Webinar Includes
Each quarterly session is a two-hour Zoom meeting blending guided content, open discussion, and opportunities to connect directly with practitioners from other states. Sessions often include a learning topic led by Evident Change, followed by time for participants to ask questions, exchange strategies in breakout sessions, and talk about the complexities of practice. The conversations emphasize real-world experiences: what is working, where challenges are emerging, and how agencies are navigating implementation and sustainability. Topics frequently touch on facilitation skills, family and youth engagement, and implementation support, all guided by participant needs.
