Every child deserves to be safe and supported in their home and in their community. That’s why Evident Change works with families and child welfare agencies to help protect children from abuse and neglect, and to help families safely care for their children at home.
Many child welfare agencies confront challenges as they respond to an increasing, and increasingly complex, volume of cases. Workers must consistently and accurately determine which cases should be investigated, which children should be placed due to safety concerns, and which families require the most intensive services.
Evidence-informed assessments like those from the Structured Decision Making model for child protection make this possible. We also support child welfare agencies with SafeMeasures data reporting, along with line staff and supervisor training and coaching.
