Evident Change collaborates with systems professionals, community organizations, and community members to demonstrate, test, and evaluate innovative alternatives to ineffective and costly justice practices.

We center racial equity in our work, striving to focus public attention and galvanize political opinion toward meaningful and equitable system change.

Most importantly, our research seeks to deepen understanding of the lives and experiences of those involved in the justice system, particularly individuals and communities of color, in an effort to capture the multifaceted damage inflicted by excessive incarceration.
