Warriors for Peace, a new pilot project that provides psychological counseling and storytelling skills to young men, was initiated by the Chinatown Youth Center Initiative (also known as The Spot) in partnership with NCCD, Oakland-based Kaiser Permanente, Community Health for Asian Americans, and Youth Movement Records.
Warriors for Peace, a new pilot project that provides psychological counseling and storytelling skills to young men, was initiated by the Chinatown Youth Center Initiative (also known as The Spot) in partnership with NCCD, Oakland-based Kaiser Permanente, Community Health for Asian Americans, and Youth Movement Records. The program is aimed at helping young people to learn to deal with their experiences and move forward, and targeted those who had been exposed to violence within the family unit or in their immediate circle of friends.
