NCCD Collaborates on Justice Reporting Project
January 11, 2017 | by NCCD
NCCD, the Asian American Journalists Association, and Investigative Reporters and Editors are collaborating on the CJ Project, a special reporting series intended to increase knowledge and investigative skills in the field of adult and juvenile justice journalism. Deirdre O’Connor, NCCD’s associate director for strategic initiatives, manages the project. The CJ Project recently hired three experienced journalists–Amy Linn, Mary Hudetz, and Sarah Macaraeg–to be based at the University of New Mexico’s Department of Communication & Journalism. They will create multimedia content about juvenile and adult justice issues that affect New Mexico communities of color. Read more about the project and the journalists here.
