NCCD Children’s Research Center is working with the Vermont Department of Children and Families over the next two years to enhance existing Structured Decision Making® (SDM) safety, risk, and risk reassesments, and the reunification assessment.

NCCD Children’s Research Center is working with the Vermont Department of Children and Families over the next two years to enhance existing Structured Decision Making® (SDM) safety, risk, and risk reassesments, and the reunification assessment. CRC staff will join with University of Vermont–Montpelier Child Welfare Training Partnership Training Coordinators to roll out integrated practice training and internal and external coaching to support the long-term sustainability of the practice changes. Technical assistance and comparative case reading will support continuous quality improvement efforts. The project also includes outlining a risk validation study. Read more here.
