The Sentencing Project has released a policy brief called “Ending Mass Incarceration: Social Interventions That Work.” The brief looks at interventions in early childhood education, juvenile justice, and community investment. It also demonstrates the effectiveness of programs, such as the Nurse Family Partnership and Functional Family Therapy, in recognizing the capacity of families and communities to address public safety.
