In this year’s election, voters seemed to take more definitive stances on criminal justice related issues. The legalization of marijuana in Colorado and Washington, as well as the acceptance of Proposition 36 to repeal the three strikes law, indicate that U.S. voters have taken a more practical, divided approach towards criminal justice issues.
