Dr. Angela Wolf, NCCD’s Director of Justice Strategies, appeared on KQED Newsroom recently to discuss stopping violence in East Oakland. The panel also included Oakland Police Department Captain Ersie Joyner, journalist and Bunche Continuation School teacher Pendarvis Harshaw, and former lifer Clinton Thomas. KQED’s Thuy Vu also interviewed three young people from East Oakland, Kenneth Munson, Tiera McGill, and Ronald Easley, who spoke about their challenges and hopes.
