City Leaders Chart Future of California Gang Prevention Network

From August 8th-9th, the National League of Cities‘ Institute for Youth, Education, and Families (YEF) and NCCD met in Santa Rosa, California to discuss the future of the California Cities Gang Prevention Network, a coalition that was created in 2007 to implement gang reduction strategies to decrease gang activity and violence.
From August 8th-9th, the National League of Cities‘ Institute for Youth, Education, and Families (YEF) and NCCD met in Santa Rosa, California to discuss the future of the California Cities Gang Prevention Network, a coalition that was created in 2007 to implement gang reduction strategies to decrease gang activity and violence. The network has been successful with their efforts in many of the cities and has helped to reform policies, procedures, and strategies on a state and federal level.
