BreakOUT! Presents Preliminary Research Findings on LGBTQ Youth to New Orleans City Council

BreakOUT!, a group in New Orleans working to end the criminalization of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth, together with Human Rights Watch and BreakOUT!, a group in New Orleans working to end the criminalization of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth, together with Human Rights Watch and Women With a Vision, addressed the New Orleans City Council earlier this month as a follow-up to the Human Rights Watch report titled In Harm’s Way: State Response to Sex Workers, Drug Users, and HIV in New Orleans. In their City Council address, BreakOUT! offered preliminary findings from We Deserve Better, a research project done in partnership with NCCD. To read the preliminary findings, click here.
