The presentation, scheduled for September 29, 10:00 a.m.

Nicole Pittman, NCCD Program Specialist and Stoneleigh Fellow, will present findings from her investigation into the impacts of sex offender registration on youth and their families at the next meeting of the Bay Area Chapter of the California Coalition on Sexual Offending. The presentation, scheduled for September 29, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, will focus specifically on measures related to youth mental health, school experiences, social relationships, attitudes, experiences of traumatic events, and family impacts.

The coalition’s Bay Area Chapter meets the last Monday of every month in Room 1002 of the Juvenile Justice Center in San Leandro, California, to hear presentations from trainers and other experts in the field of juvenile and adult sexual offenders, including representatives from state and federal parole, probation/parole agents, DAs, PDs, treatment providers, and others. These presentations are free of charge.
