Beginning on January 12, 2012 NCCD presented panel discussions on the importance of social marketing and advocacy in justice organizations and how to best integrate new and existing strategies into research and policy work. Our first event – “Bringing Your Issue to the People: Connecting Your Work to Key Constituents” – looked at building the campaign process from start to finish. How do you decide whether a campaign is right for your organization? Our presenters talked about how to choose a campaign issue, find creative ways to engage stakeholders and build a constituency, and how to set tangible goals for campaign success.

NCCD’s President Alex Busansky moderated the panel, which included a presentation, discussion, and time for Q&A.

These events are free and open to the public, but space is limited! Coffee and light snacks are available at each panel.
