American Society on Aging Conference

NCCD’s Jennifer Cotter and Karen Meulendyke will lead a workshop at the American Society on Aging Conference in San Francisco in March. Their workshop, titled “Accurate and Consistent Decision-Making in Adult Protective Services With Assessment Tools,” will discuss how reliable, valid, and well-implemented assessment tools can help adult protective services (APS) agency staff make effective decisions regarding this vulnerable population at both case and agency levels. Cotter and Meulendyke will facilitate learning about the Structured Decision Making^® (SDM) system for APS in various jurisdictions through discussion, examples, and exercises.
