Take part in “A Week in the Life of Adult Protective Services” through a free webinar with that title. Pamela B. Teaster, PhD, of the Virginia Tech Center for Gerontology, will conduct the webinar, presenting a study that uses a public health model to examine allegations of elder abuse made to Kentucky Adult Protective Services (APS). The allegations were collected for one week; the investigations that followed were analyzed in an effort to understand how APS addressed the needs of abused elders.
