Effective and Experienced
Evident Change has been using predictive analytics to help improve outcomes for children and families for over 30 years. We are strong proponents of using this methodology in a transparent and effective way. Our approach helps agencies meet their goals while answering the questions they should be asking to ensure that civil liberties are protected and that intervention is fair and appropriate.
There are numerous ways to partner on predictive analytics. Whatever your agency’s priorities, level of experience, or questions, we can meet you where you are to explore this methodology and its potential for your agency.
Recently we also published a paper on integrating predictive risk modeling and structured tools, titled “The Right Tool for the Right Moment: Predictive Risk Modeling, the Structured Decision Making Model, and the Architecture of Child Welfare Decision Support.” The paper addresses how these models work in child welfare and what they can accomplish together, as well as the potential harm and liability that can arise when the limitations of models aren’t accounted for.
