If mailing your work, please make sure it is postmarked by December 31. The Media for a Just Society Awards program is the only national recognition of print, web, and broadcast journalism; TV news and feature reporting, producing, and writing; films; and literature that furthers public understanding of criminal justice, juvenile justice, child welfare, and adult protection issues. NCCD is seeking stories, features, segments, series, or shows that illustrate current realities or the promise of reform, especially those that help people understand the complex issues surrounding the nation’s social systems.
