Jennifer Cotter

Jennifer Cotter works on development and implementation of SDM projects in child welfare, prevention services, economic support, and adult protective services. She provides ongoing support and technical assistance to jurisdictions across the United States as well as in Australia, Bermuda, Canada, and Taiwan.

Previously, Jennifer was a social work case manager for vulnerable adults including those with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries. She has experience developing a pilot healthcare program for the uninsured, working with survivors of domestic violence, and as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteer advocating for the interests of abused and neglected children within the court system. Jennifer has a master’s degree in social work and a bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
